Removal And Installation: Bracket
NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available). This will confirm that the module is updated to the latest applicable software level.
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) module. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the fasteners (1)
- Remove the ACC module bracket (2).
INSTALLATION
- Inspect the ACC module bracket, ACC module and the ACC module wiring harness integrity.
- Position the ACC module bracket (1a) and tighten the fasteners (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the ACC module. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the ACC module calibration procedure. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
