Removal And Installation: Bracket

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available). This will confirm that the module is updated to the latest applicable software level.

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) module. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the fasteners (1)
  4. Remove the ACC module bracket (2).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Inspect the ACC module bracket, ACC module and the ACC module wiring harness integrity.

  2. Position the ACC module bracket (1a) and tighten the fasteners (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the ACC module. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Perform the ACC module calibration procedure. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
