VTC System Oil Passage Inspection

Preconditions 

NOTE:  This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.

• VTC Oil Control Solenoid Valve B is normal

Test Procedure

    Check for debris or clogs in the VTC system oil passages.

• Normal Conditions
• • -

    There is no debris or clogs.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the VTC system oil passages.
