ABV Open Wire Inspection

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation

    Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve connector (2P): disconnected

  • -

    PCM connector E (80P): disconnected

• Procedure
• • -

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

(Disconnected) Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve connector (2P) female terminals

(Disconnected) PCM connector E (80P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (1.5L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) female terminals

Normal Conditions

ABV open wire inspection 

OFF

There is less than 1 Ohm 

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
• If normal, there is a problem with the PCM.
