For more efficient troubleshooting, you may be able to eliminate some inspection items as potential failures based on the conditions of the failure and vehicle.
- Confirm the HDS. Raise and lower your foot under the hands free access power tailgate control unit/sensor.NOTE:
Before confirming the HDS, do the HDS [Histry data/Clear] according to the instructions on the HDS screen.
Raise your foot: HDS [Hands Free Access Signal Detected] indicates ON
Lower your foot: HDS [Hands Free Access Signal Detected] indicates OFF
Raise your foot: HDS [Histry data/Clear] indicates [HANDS FREE ACCESS] is OK
