PARKOUT [ATP-P] Circuit Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation

- TCM connector A (23P): disconnected
- Body control module connector C (28P): disconnected
- Driver's power seat control unit connector A (40P): disconnected
- Front passenger's power seat control unit connector A (40P) (with 16-way power seat): disconnected
- Procedure

- Perform the inspection according to the following table.

for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
Shorted Parts Inspection (Connected to PARKOUT [ATP-P] Circuit)
Preconditions
NOTE:
This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.
- External circuit is normal

- Preparation

- TCM connector A (23P): disconnected
- Driver's power seat control unit connector A (40P): disconnected
- Front passenger's power seat control unit connector A (40P) (with 16-way power seat): disconnected
- Procedure

- Perform the inspection according to the following table and while reconnecting these parts or connectors, one at a time:-TCM connector A (23P)-Driver's power seat control unit connector A (40P)-Front passenger's power seat control unit connector A (40P) (with 16-way power seat)

Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the component that caused the short to return when it was reconnected.
TCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining TCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the TCM.
