DTC Troubleshooting: P06E4(3.0L Engine): Inspection

+B_VBS/VBU, IG1_VBSOL2, +B_IGP, FI_MAIN_RLY_CL- Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

• Preparation
• • PGM-FI main relay 1: disconnected
  • PCM connector B (72P): disconnected
• Procedure
• • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

			(Disconnected)PGM-FI main relay 1 4P socketfemale terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector B (72P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(2.0L Engine) female terminals

	+B_VBS/VBU circuit inspection	OFF			12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1]
	IG1_VBSOL2 circuit inspection	ON			12 V battery voltage [circuit type 1]
	+B_IGP circuit inspection 1	OFF			12 V battery voltage[circuit type 1]
	+B_IGP circuit inspection 2	OFF			12 V battery voltage[circuit type 1]
	FI_MAIN_RLY_CL- open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

  If the power supply inspection of the above table showed abnormally, do the additional Power Supply Inspection , to locate the failure.

PCM Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the PCM.
