FI_MAIN_RLY_OUT Shorted Wire Inspection

NOTICE:

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- PGM-FI main relay 1: disconnected
- PCM connector B (72P): disconnected
Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
  Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.


		(Disconnected) PCM connector B (72P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(2.0L Engine) female terminals

FI_MAIN_RLY_OUT shorted to power inspection	ON		Not shorted

- Power distribution module connector A (18P): disconnected
- Injector relay: disconnected
Procedure
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
  Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.


		(Disconnected) PCM connector B (72P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(3.0L Engine) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs(2.0L Engine) female terminals

Test Procedure

If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
