DTC Troubleshooting: P0460(2.0L Engine): Inspection

FUEL_GAUGE1-2, FUEL_GAUGE+ Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• • Fuel tank unit connector B (2P): disconnected
  • Secondary fuel gauge sending unit 4P connector: disconnected
  • Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected
• Procedure
• • Perform the inspection according to the following table.
    NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Gauge Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining gauge control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the gauge control module.
