EVAP Canister Purge Valve Component Inspection
Test Procedure
- Preparation

- EVAP canister purge valve 2P connector: disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.

| Valve internal circuit inspection | OFF | About 23 - 26 Ohm (at room temperature) | ||
Results
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the EVAP canister purge valve.
PCS Shorted Wire Inspection
NOTICE:
Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
Test Procedure
- Preparation

- EVAP canister purge valve 2P connector: disconnected
- PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
- Procedure
-
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.
Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
- Perform the inspection according to the following table.

Results
- If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
PCM Inspection
Test Procedure
- If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
Results
- There is a problem with the PCM.
