CKP Sensor Inspection 

Test Procedure

    CKP sensor 3P connector: disconnected

• Procedure
• • -

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

	Unit output voltage inspection	ON		About 5.0 V
		ON		About 5.0 V

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the CKP sensor.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with other related components.

VCC1, CRKP, SG1 Circuit Inspection 

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure

    PCM connector E (114P): disconnected

• Procedure
• • -

    Perform the inspection according to the following table.

	VCC1 open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	SG1 open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	CRKP open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	CRKP shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

PCM Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the PCM.
