Please carefully read "Precaution for Handling Sodium-Filled Valves" and follow the instructions as the exhaust valves contain metal sodium .

1. Valve - Inspect

   Preconditions 

   • Valve Removed - Refer to: Cylinder Head/Camshaft Area(2.0L Engine) or Cylinder Head/Camshaft Area(3.0L Engine)

   Procedure/Specifications 

   • Measure the valve in these areas.

   Specifications

   a	Intake	34.85-35.15 mm (1.3720-1.3839 in)
   	Exhaust	28.85-29.15 mm (1.1358-1.1476 in)
   b	Intake (Front)	104.36-104.96 mm (4.1087-4.1323 in)
   	Intake (Rear)	108.46-109.06 mm (4.2701-4.2937 in)
   	Exhaust (Front)	107.36-107.96 mm (4.2268-4.2504 in)
   	Exhaust (Rear)	111.46-112.06 mm (4.3882-4.4118 in)
   c	Intake	5.485-5.495 mm (0.21594- 0.21634 in)	5.485 mm (0.21594 in)
   	Exhaust	5.465-5.475 mm (0.21516- 0.21555 in)	5.465 mm (0.21516 in)

   Result 

   • If the measurement is not within specifications, replace the valve.
