Control (ABV) Open Wire Inspection

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve connector (2P): disconnected
  • PCM connector E (80P) : disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    			(Disconnected) Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve connector 2P female terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector E (80P) female terminals

    	ABV open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
• If normal, there is a problem with the PCM.
