Control (ABV) Shorted Wire Inspection

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve connector (2P): disconnected
  • PCM connector E (80P) : disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.
    NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

  			(Disconnected) Turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve connector 2P female terminals
  		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
  	ABV shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
