DTC P2583-98 : Millimeter Wave Radar Temperature Too High
How To Use This Service Information .
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the How to Troubleshoot - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2019 2020 2021) or How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2022 2023) .
- If this DTC is recorded, the following is suspected:
- When the vehicle is left in the scorching heat, is in a traffic jam at high temperature, or is driving uphill continuously, the millimeter wave radar gets extremely hot.
- The function automatically returns to normal when the internal temperature of the millimeter wave radar drops.
- The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the DTC troubleshooting index - Refer to: Driving Support DTC Troubleshooting Index (2019 2020 2021) or Driving Support DTC Troubleshooting Index (2022 2023) .
