DTC P2583-97 : Dust or Dirt On The Millimeter Wave Radar
How To Use This Service Information .
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the How to Troubleshoot - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2019 2020 2021) or How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2022 2023) .
- This DTC is stored when the millimeter wave radar determines that the detection capability (sensitivity) has decreased. A decrease in the detection capability (sensitivity) of the millimeter wave radar does not always mean there is an obstruction on the radar surface.
- This DTC may be stored when passing through an enclosed space such as a tunnel.
- Wipe off any dirt or dust off the millimeter wave radar surface and cover and test drive the vehicle. If the DTC is not record again, the millimeter wave radar is OK.
- The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the DTC troubleshooting index - Refer to: Driving Support DTC Troubleshooting Index (2019 2020 2021) or Driving Support DTC Troubleshooting Index (2022 2023) .
