TPMS Control Unit Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE:  Make sure the TPMS control unit mounting bracket is not bent or twisted as this may affect its communication with the tire pressure sensors.

  1. Driver's Dashboard Lower cover - Remove
      1. Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover .
  2. TPMS Control Unit - Remove

    1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode

    2. Remove the TPMS control unit (A) from the bracket (B). NOTE:  While separating the TPMS control unit from the bracket, release the hook (C) on the TPMS control unit, and push down to release it from the bracket

    3. Disconnect the TPMS control unit connector (D).
