DTC 1403: Audio Error 3 (Display Error)
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ).
- This navigation DTC sets when a mechanical malfunction in the navigation display is detected.
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
- Check that the temperature is between -4 °F (-20 °C), below 158 °F (70 °C) in the passenger's cabin.
- Clear the hard error code (see HOW TO CLEAR ERROR HISTORY ).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
- Check for the hard error code (see HOW TO CHECK ERROR HISTORY (NAVIGATION DTCS)
).
Is DTC 1403 indicated?
YES -Replace the navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the vehicle repeatedly comes back with the DTC, replace the navigation display unit (see NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
