With SH-AWD

NOTE:
  • Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive.
  • Do not use power tools.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
  2. Remove the center console (see CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. MT: Remove the shift lever assembly (see SHIFT LEVER HOUSING REPLACEMENT ).
  4. Disconnect the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor 4P connector (A), then remove the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor (B).

  5. Check for deformation in the bracket (C). If necessary replace it.
  6. Install the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.
  7. Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization (see VSA SENSOR NEUTRAL POSITION MEMORIZATION  ).
  8. Do the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration neutral position memorization (see YAW RATE-LATERAL/LONGITUDINAL ACCELERATION NEUTRAL POSITION MEMORIZATION ).
