Sunlight Sensor

Carefully remove sunlight sensor from instrument panel. Turn ignition on. Without disconnecting harness connector, measure voltage between sensor terminals with positive lead on Yellow/Red terminal and negative lead on Yellow/Green terminal. If voltage is not 3.6-3.7 volts or greater out of direct sunlight, replace sensor. If voltage is not 3.3-3.5 volts or less in direct sunlight, replace sensor.

NOTE: The voltage will not change under artificial light of a flashlight or fluorescent lamp.
