RECIRCULATION Control Motor

NOTE: Do not reverse polarity in recirculation motor, or damage may result. Do not cycle recirculation control motor for very long at a time.
  1. Disconnect recirculation control motor 5-pin harness connector. Connect battery voltage to recirculation control motor terminal No. 5 and ground terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1 . If recirculation control motor runs smoothly, go to next step. If recirculation control motor does not run, check recirculation control motor doors and linkage for smooth operation. If doors and linkage are okay, replace recirculation control motor.
  2. Disconnect terminals No. 1 and 2 from ground. If recirculation control motor does not stop at fresh or recirculate position, replace recirculation control motor. If recirculation control motor stops at fresh or recirculate position, motor is okay.
