Function Test: Integra
- Remove sun roof switch from instrument panel. See SUN ROOF SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect sun roof switch connector. Check continuity between sun roof switch connector terminal No. 2 (Black wire) and ground. See Fig 1. If no continuity exists, repair open in Black wire. If continuity exists, go to next step.
- Turn ignition on. Check voltage between sun roof switch connector terminals No. 4 (Green wire) and No. 2 (Black wire). If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, check for blown fuse No. 49 (30-amp) located in underhood fuse/relay box, fuse No. 24 (7.5-amp) located in underdash fuse/relay box, open in Green/Black, Green, or White wires, or faulty sun roof relay. Repair or replace components as necessary.
- Turn ignition off. Connect jumper wire between sun roof switch connector terminals No. 4 (Green wire) and No. 3 (Green/Red wire). Connect second jumper between sun roof switch connector terminals No. 1 (Green/Yellow wire) and No. 2 (Black wire). Turn ignition on. If sun roof opens, check sun roof switch. See SUN ROOF SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. If sun roof does not open, check sun roof motor. See SUN ROOF MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTS.
