Removal & Installation: Compressor: Removal

Disconnect negative battery cable. Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Remove power steering pump and set it aside (leave hoses connected). Disconnect condenser fan connector. Unplug compressor clutch connector from condenser fan shroud. Remove condenser fan shroud. Disconnect refrigerant hoses from compressor and plug openings. Remove compressor belt. Remove compressor mounting bolts and compressor.
