DTC P1107 & P1108 - BARO Sensor

  1. Connect and operate scan tester, following manufacturer's instructions. Clear codes. Turn ignition on. Retrieve codes. If neither DTC P1107 nor P1108 appears, problem is intermittent, but does not exist at this time. If DTC P1108 appears, temporarily substitute known good PCM, and recheck for DTC. If DTC P1107 appears, go to next step.
    NOTE: The following steps apply to vehicles equipped with Traction Control System (TCS).
  2. Turn ignition off. Unplug PCM connector "D". See Figure . Unplug 20-pin harness connector from TCS control unit. Test for continuity between ground and terminal No. 3 at PCM harness connector "D". If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, repair shorted Orange/Red wire.
  3. Temporarily substitute known good TCS control unit, then retest system. If DTC P1107 still appears, temporarily substitute known good PCM and recheck for DTC.
