Power Seat Recline Memory Limit Switch Test

Remove driver's seat. See FRONT SEATS  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect recline memory limit switch connector and recline motor connector. See Fig 1 . Apply battery power across recline motor connector terminals "E" and "F". Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between recline memory limit switch connector terminals "Q" and "R". When seat back reaches a fully upright position there should be continuity. If no continuity exists, replace faulty recline memory limit switch. If motor does not run, reverse battery leads. If motor still does not run, replace faulty recline motor.
