Compressor Clutch

  1. Connect ohmmeter between terminal on clutch lead and ground. If resistance is not 3.4-3.8 ohms at 68°F (20°C), replace clutch.
  2. Using feeler gauge, measure clearance between pulley and pressure plate. If clearance is not .014-.026" (.35-.65 mm), install or remove shims as necessary.
