A/C-Heater System - Manual: Description
The heater and air conditioner are combined into one system. Fresh air is used for heater operation; fresh or recirculated air is used for A/C operation. Unit is mounted behind instrument panel. Cooled air is distributed through registers.
Air conditioner control system consists of A/C switch in control panel, A/C control unit, dual (triple) pressure switch, radiator fan control unit, coolant temperature sensor, evaporator thermostat switch, pressure switch, PGM-FI (engine) control unit, compressor clutch and clutch relay. See Fig 1 .
